Unfortunately, the fate of the Auchmar Estate hangs in limbo. The city has hundreds of millions of dollars to build a highway that will only be convenient to trucks bypassing Hamilton, but no money to preserve this beautiful and historic site. Maybe someday it'll be restored and turned into a wonderful park, or levelled and turned into an apartment building.
